The Thomas J. Dyer Company was presented with the “Safety Excellence Award” on November 2, 2021, by Allied Construction Industries. Our organization was chosen on the merits of maintaining a proactive, innovative and inclusive safety culture with proven success.
TJ Dyer accomplished this by developing and implementing a Human Performance Improvement approach to safety that enhances our culture beyond compliance. The HPI system places a high value on personal accountability and involvement at all levels of our organization. Our success is defined by measurably increasing our “Safe Actions” resulting in injury reduction. TJ Dyer has maintained an EMR below the industry standard for years, achieving the lowest possible EMR allowed for four years in a row.
