GE Global

The GE Global Operations Center was completed in 2016. The 352,000-square-foot headquarters is a stunning addition to the banks of the Ohio River. The Thomas J. Dyer Company for planning, specifying and installing the HVAC system.

UK Science Building

The Academic Science Building at UK is a 240,000-square-foot laboratory and classroom facility. It was completed in 2016. The Thomas J. Dyer Company was tasked with an aggressive schedule to install the HVAC/Plumbing and relied heavily on prefabricating miles of plumbing racks.

Miami U Geothermal

Miami University’s new geothermal plant was completed February of 2015. The $9 million project provides hot and cold water to three new dorms and a new dining hall on western campus through 72 miles of underground piping saving the university an estimated $1.5 million a year in total energy cost. The Thomas J. Dyer Company installed the HVAC/Plumbing systems and helped plan and spec out the project.

Christ Hospital

The 365,000-square-foot expansion to the existing hospital is home for musculoskeletal medicine. The $280 million project was completed in November 2015. The Thomas J. Dyer Company used its fabrication technology to build and install corridor racks due to the tight logistics and schedule.

The Ark Encounter

This project is a creationist theme park and the centerpiece of the park is a large representation of Noah's Ark spanning 510 feet long. The Thomas J. Dyer installed a VRF and HVAC systems.

University of Kentucky Research Building #2

The University of Kentucky’s Research Building 2 is a state-of-the-art research facility focused on Kentucky health disparities that impact the state. This $265 million dollar building that has an overall design of 300,000 square feet will accommodate over 500 researchers such as Principal Investigators, postdoctoral scholars, graduate and undergraduate students. Thomas J. Dyer’s overall scope of work consisted of installing fourteen air handling units, High-Pressure Steam Systems, Chilled and Hot Water Systems, HVAC Systems, and an Energy Recovery System that will help save the university thousands of dollars annually by recovering and reusing energy in the HVAC systems.

University of Kentucky Patient Care Facility

The 1 million-square-foot hospital is still under construction. This state-of-the-art facility is a key milestone in achieving University of Kentucky’s vision to become a world-class academic medical center and the state’s most comprehensive and advanced health care system. The Thomas J. Dyer Company is currently involved in the installation of the HVAC/Plumbing systems.

Kentucky Horse Park

The Kentucky Horse Park features 5,700 stadium seats and nine suites with 200 suite seats, a 135 x 300-foot (41 x 91m) event floor (equal to one US football field or four basketball courts) with special equine surface, 20,000 square feet (1,858 square meters) of exhibitor space, six concession areas, a warm-up barn, outdoor warm-up ring, and bathrooms with 91 stalls. The Thomas J. Dyer Company specified and installed a state-of-the-art HVAC system that included a special system for live animals and smoke evacuation.

Queen City Tower

Great American Tower at Queen City Square is a state-of-the-art 41-story office tower located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati’s business district. The over 800,000-square-foot building provides highly-efficient floorplates ranging from 21,000-26,000 square feet on its 33 office floors. The Thomas J. Dyer Company installed an Advanced HVAC/Plumbing systems and is currently servicing the Tower’s needs.

Indu & Raj Soin Medical Center

The 400,000-square-foot hospital complex services the healthcare needs in Dayton, Ohio. The $135 million hospital was completed February 2012. The Thomas J. Dyer Company helped budget and price the project as well as winning the installation of the HVAC and Plumbing systems.
