TJ Dyer is seeking skilled Installers who have worked in industrial/manufacturing, healthcare, education and/or commercial markets to join our winning team. The individual in this role will be responsible for installing clients’ HVAC/R systems.
We provide ongoing training and factory certification through our many trade vendors and schools with an emphasis on professional growth, working with top of the line technology on all types of equipment with our number one focus being on employee safety. We will equip you with all of the necessary tools, tablet and a service vehicle to perform your job at the highest standard.
All candidates must be highly skilled craftsmen in their trade, and we prefer a minimum of five (5) years actual, practical working experience in the HVAC/R service industry.

Using all available information, specifications, scope, narrative and drawings, take complete responsibility for generating take-offs, securing the sub contractor and material prices, organizing and preparing the proposal on assigned projects. Evaluate and solicit guidance, if necessary, on rigging, constructability, manpower, supervision levels, equipment, systems etc.; pulling the entire estimate together for final review and submittal. If there is a conflict in information, develop the necessary RFI’s and if not answered clarify the bid.
Utilize all of the technologies that have been invested in by the company and create a thorough an accurate estimate using those tools. Plan and conduct a complete turn-over meeting of all information developed during this process to the Operations Team so that they can set up their budget and plan their project in accordance with the information you developed and the monies you secured in the bid.
- 5+ years of mechanical experience
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematic diagrams
- Valid driver's license required
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Welding, sheet metal and controls experience is a plus
- Commit to Drug Free Workplace policy
